After making an official visit to Virginia over the weekend, Florida 3-star cornerback Jarvis Lee Jr. told Tony Elliott that he was sold on the Cavaliers and announced on Twitter that he is committed to UVA.

Lee (5-foot-11, 170 pounds) chose Virginia over Pitt, Iowa State, Missouri, Memphis, Purdue, Washington State and others. He plans to enroll at UVA in January.

With 23 tackles, three interceptions and seven PBUs last season as a junior for Clay High School in Green Cove Springs outside of Jacksonville, he helped his team in all three phases of the game — defensively, offensively, and on special teams.

That was evident in Clay’s spring game last month against neighboring Pontre Vedra when Lee made two interceptions and returned a kickoff for a touchdown.

He is rated a consensus 3-star by 247Sports and ESPN.
