FROM HEAD COACH JOANNA HARDIN
“We made good adjustments as the games went on. We know Duke is a great opponent and they swing it well. Moving forward we need to learn as much as we can. We saw both of their arms and know exactly what we’ll get tomorrow. The key is how early and quickly we can make adjustments at the plate offensively. On the pitching side we need to keep the ball in the park and let our defense work for us. Morgan Murphy came in and did a great job today keeping them at bay. I’m proud of her for doing that because she hasn’t seen a ton of time at this point. That’s hard to do against a great offense. Now we need to turn the page and try to scratch a win out of the weekend.”
