Virginia recruit Blake Buchanan named to Nike Hoop Summit team

Virginia basketball recruit Blake Buchanan has been named to the 13-member U.S. men’s team that will play in April’s Nike Hoop Summit game in Portland, Ore.
The 6-foot-10 power forward from Lake City, Idaho, will be part of Team USA that will take on international players. Bronny James, son of NBA career scoring leader LeBron James, has also been named to the U.S. squad.
Buchanan is ranked No. 75 in the Class of 2023 according to 247Sports and No. 65 by ESPN. He is a four-star recruit who was nominated for the McDonald’s All-American game.
