Women’s Lacrosse: Schwab earns Preseason All-American honors

Virginia attacker Morgan Schwab has been named a preseason All-America honorable mention, as announced Wednesday by USA Lacrosse Magazine.

A second-team All-ACC selection in 2023, Schwab was named a co-captain ahead of the 2024 season and enters the campaign with 64 goals and 98 assists, the sixth-highest assist total in program history.

The Cavaliers were voted No. 20 in USA Lacrosse Magazine’s preseason poll. UVA begins its 2024 campaign on Friday, Feb. 9, when the Cavaliers travel to Liberty for their season opener.
