UVA signs five top-100 recruits for 2023-24 season
Virginia head coach Joanna Hardin announced the signing of six players, including five players ranked in the top 100 nationally, as part of the 2022 signing class on Wednesday.
Four Hoos earn All-ACC honors; Ueland named Defensive Player of the Year
In addition to being named ACC Defensive Player of the Year, Andreas Ueland was selected to the All-ACC first team along with his co-captain and striker, Leo Afonso. Virginia goalkeeper Holden Brown was selected to the third team, and left wingback Reese Miller earned All-Freshman honors.

Virginia women’s golf coach Ria Scott announced Wednesday a two-player signing class of Rolex All-Americans to join the Cavalier program in the fall of 2023. The latest additions to the Virginia program are Kiera Bartholomew and Jaclyn LaHa.

UVA earns at-large bid for NCAA Championship
The Virginia field hockey team earned one of eight at-large bids into the field of 18 teams for the 2022 NCAA Field Hockey Championship. The Cavaliers (13-7) will take on Iowa (11-7) on Friday at 3:30 p.m. ET at Lakeside Field in Evanston, Ill.
