The 6-foot-9, 210-pound standout announced late Wednesday night that he had received an offer from Virginia. He has numerous offers from Duke, North Carolina, Florida State, Kansas, Syracuse, Clemson, South Carolina, Pitt, Wake Forest, Boston College, Georgetown, NC State, Virginia Tech, Florida, Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU and High Point.
He is the No. 4 ranked power forward in the country, and really began to turn heads at the Peach Jam and NBA Top 100 Camp in Orlando.
Scouts have been impressed with Jackson’s versatility, a perimeter jumper off the bounce or on the catch and his ability to create his own shot off the dribble.
“I bring versatility to the floor,” Jackson told Jamie Shaw of Rivals back in June before his recruitment exploded nationally. “I don’t just post up, I can also bring the ball up. I can play down low or outside.”
