Virginia made a late addition to its transfer portal class on Monday, signing former Dartmouth defensive back Patrick Campbell.

The 6-foot, 195-pound senior, who has one year of eligibility remaining, is originally from Snellville, Ga.

A veteran of 27 games for the Big Green, Campbell stacked up 35 tackles, an interception and four PBUs in 2025. He played in 8 games as a junior and recorded 43 tackles, 6 PBU and a fumble recovery. As a sophomore in 2023, Campbell played in all 10 of Dartmouth’s games.

He visited Virginia last Friday. Virginia’s coaches were impressed with Campbell’s game film, his high football IQ and his versatility to play safety, corner or in the nickel.
