No. 14 Virginia (3-1) scored 14 runs on 14 hits in a 14-3 win over VMI (0-1) in midweek action at Disharoon Park on Tuesday.

This weekend’s baseball series between Virginia and North Carolina scheduled to take place in Chapel Hill, N.C. will now begin on Thursday due to inclement weather in the weekend forecast.

No. 14 Virginia (2-1) did not allow an earned run and eight of the nine batters in the starting lineup recorded a hit in a 4-2, series clinching win over UConn (1-2) on Sunday at Disharoon Park.

Virginia won its first Atlantic Coast Conference series of the season with a 10-3 game-three victory over No. 7 NC State on Sunday at Disharoon Park. It marked the Cavaliers first series win over the Wolfpack (13-2, 1-2 ACC) since 2013.

Virginia opened up Atlantic Coast Conference play on Friday evening with a 7-3 win over previously unbeaten and seventh-ranked NC State at Disharoon Park. The Cavaliers are now winners of seven straight games and improve to 10-1 on their current 15-game home stand.

Virginia notched its sixth-consecutive win with a 16-7 win over Richmond on Tuesday evening at Disharoon Park. The Cavalier offense produced 10 or more runs for the sixth time in the last eight games.

Virginia will be home on Tuesday to host Richmond in a non-conference tilt at Disharoon Park. The game is scheduled to air on ACCNX with first pitch slated for 3 p.m.

Virginia scored seven runs in its first turn at the plate and never looked back in a 20-1 win over Dartmouth on Friday evening at Disharoon Park.

Virginia erased two early deficits in an 8-5 victory over William & Mary on Tuesday evening at Disharoon Park. For the Cavaliers, it was their third come-from-behind win through the first nine games of the season.
