Maggie Bostain (Richmond, Va.) scored the game-winner with the assist from Morgan Schwab (Fairport, N.Y.) as No. 8 Virginia women’s lacrosse (4-0, 2-0 ACC) edged No. 25 Louisville (2-2, 0-2 ACC) 13-12 on Saturday afternoon at Klöckner Stadium.


Rode’s 17 saves aid No. 8 UVA’s win over No. 19 High Point, 12-11

Alex Rode made 17 saves, including 12 in the second half to help the No. 8 Virginia Cavaliers (4-1) outlast the No. 19 High Point Panthers (1-3) on Wednesday afternoon, 12-11, at Klöckner Stadium.


No. 3 UVA drops ACC opener at No. 10 Syracuse

The No. 9 Virginia women’s lacrosse team (3-0, 1-0 ACC) topped No. 16 Virginia Tech (2-2, 0-2 ACC) 12-10 on Saturday afternoon at Klöckner Stadium.


No. 3 UVA notches road win at No. 11 Loyola, 15-12

Matt Moore scored five goals and Connor Shellenberger notched five points (2-3-5) as the No. 3 Virginia Cavaliers (3-0) overcame a slow start to pick up a key road win against the No. 11 Loyola Greyhounds (1-1) on Saturday evening, 15-12.

No. 3 Virginia (2-0) picked up a key non-conference home win over No. 12 Army (0-1) on Sunday afternoon, 14-9.
