The No. 7 Virginia men’s tennis team closed out the regular season with a 6-1 victory against Georgia Tech on Sunday at the Virginia Tennis Facility at the Boar’s Head Resort.
The victory was win No. 100 at Virginia for head coach Sara O’Leary. She has a record of 100-47 at UVA and becomes the third coach in program history to win 100 matches with the Cavaliers.
It marked the first season UVA advanced to the match play final since the format was adopted by the ACC in 2021.
The Cavaliers improved to 23-2 at home this season and went 6-2 on the eight-game homestand.
