UVA Sets Date for Implosion of University Hall

Ralph’s House is coming down.Virginia announced today that University Hall, former home of Cavaliers men’s and women’s basketball, will be imploded on May 25. It’s demolition is part of the athletic department’s master plan, and the space will be replaced by two new grass practice fields for athletics use, with a completion date of August 2020.

Guy Declares For NBA Draft

The other piece of Virginia’s “big three” starters from the Cavaliers’ national championship team, Kyle Guy, declared for the NBA Draft on Tuesday afternoon, a day after teammates De’Andre Hunter and Ty Jerome also announced that they were forgoing their remaining eligibility and entering the June 20 draft.

As expected, Virginia junior point guard Ty Jerome announced today that he will forgo his final season of eligibility with the Cavaliers and enter his name into the NBA draft. Jerome also said he will sign with an agent.
