No. 17 Virginia (3-1) will return to practice on Saturday, Dec. 19 after pausing all basketball-related activities on Dec. 9 due to COVID-19 issues within its program.

According to Matt Norlander, of CBS Sports, Virginia’s game with Villanova will not be played as scheduled.

Virginia’s showdown with Villanova is on for Saturday at Madison Square Garden, assuming the Cavaliers don’t have any more Covid-19 issues the rest of the week.
